Ballon / Rathoe Community Childcare Facility.
The Ballon / Rathoe Community Childcare Facility is located behind the Old School and Community Centre just off the main road and opposite Ballon National School.
The facility caters for children from three months to 12 years of age.
At present we have twenty four full and part time staff. All our childcare staff have childcare qualifications.
We provide a child centred affordable, quality childcare service in a state – of – art facility to the community of Ballon /Rathoe and the surrounding areas.
In the facility we have a Baby room.
This room caters for children from three months to approximately fourteen months.
The next stage is the Wobbler room.
This room caters for children approximately fourteen months (or when they are steady on their feet) to twenty two or twenty four months.
Toddler Room.
This room caters for children from twenty four months to approximately thirty six months.
Playschool room
This room caters for children from two and a half to approximately three and a half. They must be toilet trained before they go into play school.
Montessori School.
The year before children go to primary school they can attend our Montessori School. We have three qualified Montessori teachers at present.
Our facility also caters for primary school children.
From 8 a.m you can drop your children into the facility and they will be looked after by a member of staff and then can be crossed over safely to Ballon School at 9.15a.m. We will also collect them at 2p.m and 3p.m and and can remain here till 6p.m. We can only collect and drop off children to Ballon School.
During
all school holidays we run camps for the primary school children, ie
Halloween, Christmas, Easter and for eight weeks in the summer. This
is open to all children from Ballon / Rathoe and all surrounding areas.
You can do just a morning or a full day at the camps.
Our facility is opened all year round and opens from 8a.m to 6p.m Mon
– Fri.
